Partner Relations

I keep having a consistent issue with SSVs breaking baristas at the worst possible time. It’s a constant conversation. I’ve been told it’s “unpredictable” but that feels like a cop out.

One of the most polite and nicest baristas today lost their marbles and actually said the f word while on DTO. Like, stopped me dead in my tracks and I checked on them to make sure all was well and if we needed to switch.

I was stressed out doing solo-bar with two baristas on break an our SSVs talking in the back.

This is a serious issue and I’m starting to see that in our SSVs only want to do their job, and not be a team player.

Okay, fine, so then I’m not stressing about times ever again. But also this just creates a contest of who can care less.

I’ve been told that if I have serious concerns, I need to contact partner relations. I’m trying to really just get some insight as to how other baristas feel about partner relations. Are we actually supposed to utilize this as a way to get attention from our SM and DMs?

I had an anonymous complaint against me for using the F word when I said my [blank] back hurt after an injury. I thought that was a little ridiculous, but oh well. I don’t know if that single complaint has caused me to believe that partner relations is a joke.

How does everybody actually feel about it?
