The Armed Forces of the Philippines 🇵🇭 is ready to make 2026 a milestone year for the Armed Forces' goal to make the AFP a stronger, and future-ready force. The Philippines is expected to receive the new Rajah Sulayman-class OPVs, BRP Rajah Sulayman PS-20 and BRP Rajah Lakandula PS-21 Offshore Patrol Vessels and the third Landing Platform Dock (LD-603), as well as the final batch of the BrahMos Supersonic Anti-ship Missile System and S-70i Black Hawk combat utility helicopters, and the eight Subaru Bell 412EPX combat utility helicopters, this 2026. And it is expected that the Philippines will sign the KF-21 Boramae contract for the Philippine Air Force, this 2026, as stated by several Korean and local sources. Let us hope that just like the signing of the additional two Miguel Malvar-class Guided Missile Frigates, additional 12 FA-50PH Block 70 fighter jets, and the FA-50 Upgrade this 2025, the year 2026 will be an important year for the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Let us welcome New Year with optimism that we will be able to achieve greater things in 2026.
