Phthalo/Thalo for a baby boy?

Baby Names

Wife and I are artist/illustrators (met in art school) and have a daughter named Sequoia so we want something equally unique for our upcoming son.

Phthalo is the color of an oil paint we both used at times in college (there’s a green and blue variation). Thalo would be the more phonetic spelling option.

We like the sound of it, and that it’s unique and has a connection to both of us (as well as our meeting) but wonder if it’s too odd/difficult to spell.

Opinions welcome!
