Rewatched 12 Years a Slave... still thinking about it | 12 Years a Slave Synopsis & Plot Review
Yo, just re-watched 12 Years a Slave.
Solomon Northup is a free man. Gets tricked, then kidnapped. Suddenly he's a slave. Sent to New Orleans.
His first owner, Ford, is kinda 'humane' for a slave owner? Idk. But then he gets sold to Epps. That guy is pure evil.
Poor Patsey, what she endures is just heartbreaking. Solomon never stops trying to get free. So much resilience.
Finally, Bass helps him. Sends a letter to his wife. He gets rescued. Returns to his family. Powerful ending.
But that 'humane' slave owner bit still sits weird with me. Thoughts?
