1984 was a hell of a year. Who else wants to see the original 3-hour cut of The Karate Kid to still celebrate its 40th Anniversary?

I was rewatching the original 1984 classic last night and it still holds up better than almost anything else from our era. I was reading about the 'Assembly Cut'—apparently, there’s an extra hour of footage, including more of Daniel’s life in NJ and more scenes of the OG Cobras.

In an age where every movie gets a Director's Cut, it's crazy they didn’t give us this for it’s 40th anniversary celebration last year. I’ve started a community push to show the studio that the original audience is still here and wants to see the full story. Details are in the comments for anyone who wants to help out.
