bad base design

i am on my first run through of gtnh i made it to steam age in about 45 hours. i am sitting at about 65 hours now and as i expand my base more i realize i hate the design of it, its not big enough, looks bad, and isnt centered on chunks correctly for my large iron steam tanks and part of my steam machines. in your guys opinion is it worth it to just stop everything im doing and scrap it all and start over. i feel its worth it to do it now or it will just compound as time goes but its also a massive project to fix it all.
