Should I play Expedition 33?

I don’t know whether I should play expedition 33. I have watched some before you buy videos and Im still not sure as I have never really played a turn-based combat game. In the videos the combat doesn’t really excite me and generally I really like games with exciting combat and boss fights. My favorite games are open world and souls likes so Im not sure if I would enjoy the game.
