In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known explains,

No one is mine in this world, I own nothing in this world; when such [emotions](https://www.kakabhajans.org/bhajan/?id=16456) arise and remain in the heart,

Then understand, in life, it’s the beginning of detachment in the heart.

One who has no need of even necessities in life, the stream of [faith in God](https://www.kakabhajans.org/bhajan/?id=16456) keeps on flowing in his heart; then understand, in life…

There is no other desire in the heart except the desire to have a glimpse of God, he does not even consider the breath as his own; then understand, in life…

Whose heart does not proclaim mine and mine, in his heart even yours and yours cannot remain.

Whose heart does not belong to anyone else, except God; then understand, in life…

Who does not want anything from anyone, who does not have anything else to give to anyone except blessings; then understand, in life…

Whose heart does not accept any name and fame, who has nothing except compassion in his eyes; then understand, in [life](https://www.kakabhajans.org/bhajan/?id=16456)…

The force of greed and selfishness cannot last in his heart, who does not covet anything else but liberation; then understand, in life…

Who does not contemplate about anything else except welfare of the world, hatred and [jealousy](https://www.kakabhajans.org/bhajan/?id=16456) cannot reach his heart; then understand, in life…

Whether the world accepts him or not from its heart, God cannot help but come and reside in his [heart](https://www.kakabhajans.org/bhajan/?id=16456).
