Does Sam have a canon ethnicity?

Hey LO community! I just finished a few routes of the game and I've been doing a bunch of doodles of Sam! I can't find anywhere if he has a specific ethnicity or hair texture, but based on the dev's answers, it seems like it's up to interpretation...still figured I'd ask in case though! (I know most of them are at least French Canadian, I myself am in that club.)
