Baby hairs curl in humidity?

Hey gang

After a brief googling, I’ve found that I typically have somewhere between a 2a and a 2b… maybe the occasional 2c. But my baby hairs? My baby hairs are an easy 3c.

I really don’t do anything to my hair. Shampoo and condition and air dry.. I usually try to brush before my shower rather than after. MY QUESTION IS THIS: can I move my hair type from my 2b average closer to the 2c/3a range? What do I do?

Someone told me that hair follicles sort of “learn” and you have to commit to a curly method for a while to see results. Anyone want to hit me with their favorite low maintenance method? I have a LOT of hair and even if I had the time to diffuse … I’d rather be doing anything else. I don’t mind buying new product but I don’t want a 14 step routine, either..

I have a haircut on the 17th to take some weight out, I’ll ask the stylist as well!
