Some rookie classes have two blondes that go back and forth between outpeaking each other on the team. They compete with each other through a mix of by formation placements, accolades, and being favored by TPTB or the fanbase

Between Brittany Evans and Whitney, the only other blonde from their rookie class who was almost as favored as they were was Cassie and she honestly doesn’t even count

The OG fans LOVED Brittney Schram, but Holly Hubbard got the most love from TPTB and the team. I would say the dynamic may have been different between the two if their dark horse Mackenzie Lee had also stayed another year or two. She may have gotten point over Holly

Lexie and Gina being the last two standing from their class by staying 5 years, they spent their tenure basically playing ping pong on who could peak the most. First Gina was their strong rookie and then Lexie made drastic improvement their 2nd and 3rd years where she was placed ahead of Gina in the triangle and then Gina caught up with her in the triangle their 4th year, won VOTY, and got point and then Lexie wrapped it all up by winning PBC

Between Megan and Tori, it was Tori who peaked earlier in their tenure and then Megan had a major glow up their 3rd year on the team and since then TPTB didn’t let anyone else from their rookie class eat as good as they let Megan eat with the whole rotating points schtick

Sophy vs Karley has been fun to watch because they’re both amazing. Sophy was the debut most talented star their rookie and then when they became vets, Karley surprised everyone when she made as big of a leap as Sophy did in the triangle their 2nd year. Karley has actually been point for a few appearances and the dynamic between them reminds me so much of the one between Lexie and Gina where we have the insanely talented and cool Cali girl and then we have a sweet ole Texas bombshell. Now it appears that Sophy is more popular with the fanbase while Karley is more loved by TPTB

With AK’s leadership position, it appears that she’s peaking more but they’re both still only 3 years in and seeing how much TPTB still really like Kennedy, I don’t think they forget her and I could see her getting leadership next year.

Other rookie classes could’ve had a bottle of the blondes dynamic such as for 2015- KaShara and Amy T had Amy T stayed as long or for 2016- Heather O vs Maggie had Maggie also done more than 2 years but also it appears that Maddie was actually the real star of the 2016 class

2024 rookies do seem to have a battle of the blondes dynamic currently between Darah and Ava but it’s still too early to tell with just two years in especially since Sophia and sometimes Michelle appear to the the dark horses
