Awkward

My fubu and I decided to end our setup for various reasons, but one of them is that we’re both hopeful that 2026 will be a better year. We’ve been in this setup for a year.

At first, it was kind of awkward lying on his chest, feeling his heartbeat—faster than usual. Then he said, “Tara, sulitin natin.” I literally choked for a minute when I heard it.

We ended up laughing about it because he even referenced that girl who asked for a “last hug.”

Looking back, I’m thankful for this person because I got to know some sides of myself that I didn’t know before. We were each other’s support system for a year.

Be mature and wag mang ghost.
