Commander investment advice

With the commander reset coming in January, I was wondering what to do with these gold heads. I currently have Shapur 5552, and ashurbanipal 4111. What I was thinking of doing is maxing out both and having a good meta archer rally.

The only thing is when new archers come out in a few months, what’s the chance that this rally gets replaced by a new broken pairing.

Would this be a good move, or would saving them and waiting be the better option?
