With the push of EVs worldwide, what policies have world governments implemented to make them more friendly to repair?
While EVs are cleaner, and they save you money on gas, they come with very high repair costs. These costs are not from the battery itself, actually the battery may be the most reliable part, but rather the other items part of the electric system. As many of these cars are starting to age we are starting to see failures of modules, etc.
With the high repair costs, and complexity of repairs, EVs are not sustainable to repair compared to ICE, which is the opposite of the government’s intention in pushing such technology, so what policies have world governments done to combat this?
