Cannot download apps, asking to "pay" for something I never paid for.

What the title says. On December 18th, I subscribed to a 1 month free trial to Twitch Turbo, everything was fine up until recently where I can no longer make payments via ios or download apps on the app store because of a "billing problem"

It's asking for me to complete my purchase to Twitch for $20 even though it was a free trial? For reference I already cancelled the free trial, which shows within my subscription settings in the app. Even when I try to make the purchase just to get rid of this annoying pop up it just declines the payment. Is this some type of glitch that is going on? How do I resolve this?
