Gabe Ugliano [pjo]

Did Gabe know about Percy's situation? I just started an audio book on the books, and there's a line where he says that his room during the year is Gabe's like 'study room' or whatever Percy calls it, and mentioned that it seem like Gabe intentionally spreads his cologne and cigar smell around the room, as well as pushing his stuff into the closet and gabes boots on the windowsill. Did Sally make sure that happened, Gabe do that because of his heritage, or just Gabe being a douche canoe and accidentally helping Percy hide?
