P 10-C Trigger Bite - Question
I am having some issues with some trigger bite on my P 10-C. While at the range it tends to "bite" my shooting index finger (bottom of fleshy part). It feels like I am getting it caught between the bottom of the trigger and the trigger guard itself. I tried to swap the trigger to the HBI trigger which seems to help a little but after about 30 rounds I felt it starting to get hot (blister forming) and decided to just throw a band-aid on it as a quick fix.
Question - Has anyone had any experience reshaping the trigger guard (on the inside)? Everything I look up around this gets swarmed by people sanding Glocks for an undercut. I would be looking to just ever so slightly add additional space between the guard and the trigger (~1mm maybe). Just enough to have my finger not be pinched between during trigger reset.
I've bent other plastics with a heat gun before so I assume it would be the same process - just make it barely malleable and then give it a little shape (only get one chance) Does this weaken the structural integrity polymer as a result of this? Any downsides to this? Is there other solutions I'm just not seeing?
