was li zhi involved with the scheme with the gay crown prince?

I saw somewhere that said that li zhi actually secretly helped with his brother's downfall by purposely using scented ink for his painting and saying it was from his brother. Also it seems like he sent Chen Xin to work for the prince of wei. I always thought li zhi was pretty nice and passive so idk if this is true
