5321 shopyourway card vs BCE?

Hi!

Right now I am using BCP but will be downgrading to BCE at the end of next semester. I heard there was an downgrade-upgrade cycle with BCP where people go to BCP->BCE->BCP (once they get an upgrade offer). However if that fails I will just downgrade to BCE.

In the meantime I just got approved for the 5321 Shopyourway credit card. Honestly except for gas BCE and 5321 are similar, but i am not sure which one to use moving forward. I do have summer jobs which require me to fuel gas every week for 1 hour commutes but otherwise don't see other benefits to 5321. The thing i like about BCE is that I can use samsung pay and buy groceries with it, but it's the same cash back percentage as 5321. Annually I will spend around 3.5-4k on groceries at my off-campus apartment.

Which one is better though? I like Amex bc good customer service and samsung pay support but 5321 is also pretty good for cash back based on my experience with the old SYW mastercard I used.
