Viltrox 50mm f2 for "telephoto" vlogging lens?

Hello everyone,

I mainly do vlogging style content on tiktok and YouTube, I currently have the viltron 20mm f2.8 which I absolutely love, and the sony 28-70 f3.5-5.6 which I don't love but don't hate (unless low light lol)

I am looking to sell my sony kit lens and buy a new zoom/telephoto type lens but I am torn between getting a viltron 50mm f2 or tamron 28-75 f2.8. The Viltrox 50mm seems absolutely bonkers quality for the price and would be basically a 1 to 1 swap for the sony price wise. The tamron is also great value for money but it is a bit more expensive and will take me longer to acquire. I am planning to go travelling in the summer and wondering whether having 2 primes is too restrictive.

Is it a bad idea to get a prime 50mm when my shooting style is very on the go? I am not super fussed about image quality between the two as I think they are both more than good enough for my purposes, it's more about the zoom or prime. Anyone's experience with either AF system is also greatly appreciated but if either are like the Viltrox 20mm, I'd be more than happy with that!

I appreciate any advice and thanks in advance! FYI my camera body is a sony a7cii in case that matters.
