C-3 Passage Clarification As It Relates to Citizenship of Those Born Before Its Passsage

Can someone clarify Canadian Citizenship C-3 for me? I was born before its passage, obviously, and I thought that meant it didn’t affect me. Is this true? Would I still qualify given the following?

My second and third-great-grandparents were Canadian citizens.

I’m unaware of any renunciations in my line, but my second-great-grandfather *did* apply for U.S. citizenship at some point.

My two lines are as follows:

The common lineages are as follows:

M: born 1960 in the U.S.

GF: born 1932 in the U.S.

GGF: born 1908 in the U.S.

And this is where it splits:

GGGF: born 11 Jan 1873 in Tracadie, Antigonish, NS, CAN

GGGM: born 12 Mar 1881 in Charlotte, NB, CAN

Thanks all!
