Sator’s death, did he know?
I just finished watching the movie for the second time. One thing which caught my attention was when Sator died at the end. Kat saw herself diving off the boat but didn’t know it was her. The protagonist did the same with the glass bullets you in the freeport. Although it wasn’t him, he knew to avoid the bullets on the glass. My question is how did Sator not know he would be shot? Similar to how the protagonist knew to avoid the bullets. There would’ve been a gun shot hole of some sort or something indicated that he would be shot there no? So I’m thinking this is just a flaw in the film, or he knew he would be shot. Another theory I have is that since the was sent by the future he doesn’t have a he ability to see through things like that like the protagonist does, but that doesn’t explain how Kat was able to see herself diving off the boat. So it’s like Nolan pick and chose who to give these abilities to without some sort of reasoning, hence, why he tells us to experience it rather than understand it.Not sure if this is a stupid observation or not, would love to hear yalls opinion.
