I think i messed up
I had several contractors and civil engineers okay a plan to strip plaster off of brick. I did this by hammering it off with a hammer drill and hammer. I did not wet the surface, I had a R100 mask on but wore my clothes home and put them in the wash with other clothes. This was just the start of the project and I need to start framing.
I am going to get a HEPA site cleaner. Something like: https://www.amazon.com/ALORAIR-Sterilization-Professional-Filtration-Restoration/dp/B0893396SX
And a hepa shop vac to get all the dust. there is dust everywhere.
I am not sure that the plaster is asbestos but the house was built in the 1910s. I had no idea plaster potentially had asbestos. not sure why i was green lighted by so many contractors / engineers / city inspector if it was not safe.
u/sdave001 I have seen some of your other posts. please help me. will this space be inhabitable after I put down a floor and cover the celling in dry wall? am I safe to do this work in this space?
