The only way into heaven.

I feel like too many Christian’s have no real understanding of what it takes to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Baptism does not save you, prayer does not save you, good deeds/works do not save you, people thinking of you as a “good person” does not save you.

The only thing that guarantees your entrance into heaven is believing that Christ is the messiah, he payed for our debts or sin when he shed his blood and died for us on the cross and arguably the most important thing is having an actual relationship with Christ.

Believing that God and Jesus are real is not enough. In James 2:19 it says: “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder” meaning that it is even deeper than just believing they are real. It is actually having that relationship and contact with God that matters.

It also says in James 2:18: But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.” Meaning that if you are truly following Christ and have surrendered completely to him everything else comes with that such as good deeds, love, forgiveness etc.

If you disagree with what I have said feel free to comment your thoughts but I would like to encourage you to think of this through a righteous and biblical lens because the way you “feel” does not equal what scripture actually says.
