Season 3 plot hole or am I missing something?

In episode 7 when the queen figured out one of the Bridgertons is Lady Whistledown, she says it’s because she only came forward after the imposter went after them. But wasn’t the column by Cressida about the Bridgertons published almost the exact time the same day? She wouldn’t have been able to know the contents would be about them. And when Cressida sent her teaser letter out, there was no mention of the Bridgertons. Am I missing something?
