Legion G S steam OS

I currently have a ROG Ally X, I predominantly play, Batman Arkham series, madden, WWE, and skate and emulating, Sometimes Fortnite. I am big on modding Madden.

I had a steam deck in the past and got rid of it because it couldn’t play madden because of Linux. That’s a deal breaker for me. Might be a dumb question but is the steam os legion go s the same story?

Furthermore can anyone tell me how these games and emulating play? How’s the battery? How’s the screen quality? If you were in my shoes which device would you get? Or would you just stay with the ROG? I’m not super techy and windows is kinda kicking my ass all the time lol. I really enjoyed steam OS when I did have the steam deck.
