Best replacement for Senesi? Man City or Newcastle defender?

Hey everyone! I’m looking for the best replacement for Senesi in my squad and I have two options:

• A defender from City • A defender from Newcastle

I haven’t decided which direction to go yet. Which option do you think is better overall? And which specific player from those teams would you pick as the top replacement for Senesi?

Appreciate any suggestions and reasoning behind your picks!
