Thought I had a UTI but then I got my period…how do I know if it was just my period or if I have both??

I just made a post yesterday. But basically a week ago I had some with urination, and some itching, and frequent urination. But I thought maybe it was just a mild yeast infection combined with constipation putting pressure on my bladder. Then a few days ago I started getting abdominal pain. This combined with the frequent urination and itching made me think it was for sure an infection, which I had left untreated, I was freaking out. So I took an at home UTI test, it was mildly positive for leukocytes. I saw a doctor online yesterday and told him all this, he prescribed a 5 day course of antibiotics. Can’t get a urine culture till tomorrow though because it’s Sunday.

Then last night, some slight bleeding, more pain, I was like shit it’s getting really bad. These are the signs of bladder infection. More of that today. Then…my period comes. So now, I’m like shit, so all the cramping was just period cramps? And still no pain when I pee, just frequency and slight discomfort and itching…do I even have a UTI at all? How do I even tell?? My doctors don’t respond to online messages so I have no way of checking back in with them, I’m on my own wit this.
