Having a little spiral about unilateral disarmament...

Having a bit of a mini spiral here. Because, while I love our Green Party and their leader Zack Polanski... unilateral nuclear disarmament is insane to me because he thinks he can talk Putin... Putin out of holding nuclear weapons. That is ridiculous. I also understand that the Green manifesto (at least last year) said that they'd push for a treaty within the UN to multilateraly disarm. I think that's the better option. I imagine he's willing to listen to reason on this topic of course, but fucking hell if it isn't a little scary. While yes, I'd love a world where we don't have weapons effectively pointed at each other like a global Mexican Standoff, this cannot happen. At least not yet and in my opinion... I also realise that this would probably go through votes in the House of Commons but I'm still worried about it. I know we've got ages until the next election in 2029... but, again, it's worrying.
