best macbook for stem students

hey everyone! i’m a current college sophomore looking to buy a new macbook. i’ve had mine for about 6 years and have certainly worn it down with school stuff. i typically have multiple apps and tabs open with textbooks, notes, assignments, etc. i need a macbook that won’t sound like a plane is taking off when i open safari like my current computer does. i am grateful to not be restricted by price, although i obviously don’t want to throw money down the drain. any help would be appreciated!
