Reverend Insanity is Peak

I hate evil main characters. And I'm not saying this lightly.

I tried reading RI a dozen times, and every time, the first few chapters stopped me from doing so. The mindset of the character was just such a polar opposite to what I enjoy, I simply couldn't force myself.

But recently, maybe a week ago, I changed my way of thinking. I wasn't going to cheer for Fang Yuan. In fact, I would actively pray for his downfall. Learn about thus absolutely evil character to improve my own writing.

And so I began reading the book. The bear chapter was horrible. The twins, absolutely insane. And despite all that...

I'm now on chapter 400. I still hate Fang Yuan and can't relate to him.

Yet, I have only one thing to say.

Holy shit this is peak.

If you struggled like I did getting into the book. Just ignore the disgust, change your mindset when reading the book, and you'll enjoy probably one of the best stories in your life.

(I still prefer Lord of the Mysteries though hehehe)
