Nicks day started boring like usual, he went to class, got home and did some homework… nothing special. His birthday was tomorrow, but he wasn’t looking forward to it since he didnt have anyone to really celebrate it with while he was away at school.

Nick was laying in his bed in his single person apartment now. He didn’t have many friends at school so he got an apartment for himself. He was just scrolling through his phone like he normally would before getting up to go get something to drink. While he was in the kitchen her heard a knock at the front door, which was nearby. He opens the door and his eyes widen. The woman who basically was his second mom was standing there. Nick spent so much time at her house ever since he was little to hangout with her son.

“O-oh… hey! What are you doing here Miss Fox?” He asks happily as he pulls he into a quick hug. Nick has spent more time at her house than he has at his own, so he was super close to her, and her whole family. It was super clear that he was very, very excited to see her.
