Stopping Jencycla

Experience

I've been taking Jencycla for about 8 months now. I was put on it because I was bleeding for months at a time non stop. Jencycla did help that to begin with, but I was having a period every 2 weeks. Then I started bleeding the end of September and didn't stop till the 2nd week of November. I had 1 1/2 week not bleeding and then started again for 4 days. Stopped for another week and then started again for 5 days. Stopped and then started again for 3 days. So really I've been on and off bleeding since September. Now my breasts are sore, one more than the other and my face is breaking out, something I've never really had since I was in middle school. Plus I've been having abdominal pain on the right side of my belly button on and off since September. I want to stop jencycla and see if it helps any of my symptoms go away, but I've heard people say it really screws up your body when you stop suddenly. I'm just wondering about anyone's experience with stopping Jencycla? This is the first birth control I've ever been on and I'm 42. I also have PCOS so I've had period issues as long as I can remember :/ I also won't be replacing it with any other birth control if/when I do stop taking it
