Headlight upgrades

I do a considerable amount of driving on backroads at night and my headlights on my 2013 Fx4 are inadequate. With high beams the visibility straight ahead is fine but to the sides is terrible, fog lamps help with this but then I can't use high beams, what are my options for upgrades, how hard are they? Three things I have considered: 1. Better bulbs 2. Putting a light bar in the front bumper. 3. Putting different 12th gen lights in. Still would like other options and to know how hard these are and how much they would help. Note:I can change a light bulb and do most of my own maintenance but I HATE electrical with a burning passion.

I know the angle is adjustable, they where way too low since I got the truck
