why are so many hu tao fans furina fans and vice versa?

title. i don't think i've ever seen them interact in game (i started playing in mid 5.x so maybe they have before and i just don't know) and their roles in the story are pretty different. yet it seems like they both have a bunch of overlap in their fanbase. how come?
