Does Spiro cause weight gain the way Birth Control does?

I have diagnoised PCOS and I was on BC for 4 years starting at 16 (im almost 21 now) and it made me FATTTTT i was 5'9ft at 245lbs and it was awful.

Long story short i got horribly depressed and didnt leave my house for a year and lost a bunch of weight because of that. I thinned out everywhere besides my lower belly, upper thighs and upper arms where i seem to be unable to lose the fat no matter how much i work out.

I eventually quit BC cuz it just stopped working for me last year and I have regular periods but my acne is killing me.

Im very happy being the weight i am now and if spiro makes me gain weight i dont wanna take it.

Has anyone had any type of weight gain taking it?

I only take 25mg for now and i use topical spironolactone too just as a btw.
