Best tearjerkers where it's not about emotional devastation, just catharsis

My God, I just watched an episode of stranger things that got the tears flowing in a good way. I ardently avoid films that are billed as "emotional devastation" or that leave you feeling depressed and shattered, but tears can feel damn good sometimes. What are some examples of tearjerkers where the tears aren't from utterly awful things and the goal isn't devastation, just catharsis?
