Why is it so hard to find friends in Dubai?

I've been here for around 3-4 months and honestly speaking it feels so weird when I meet people. Guys just want to force themselves on you (ofc i'm not saying all guys), and some girls just live in their heads.

Im genuinely looking for a friend group that is genuine and fun to be around. I moved here with 0 connections and friends, started my life over, and I seem to be doing well except for that part and it's starting to get to me.

Any suggestions?
