39M - Remote Work, Too Much Silence, Looking for a Friend
Hi 👋
I’m 39 and looking for a long-term friendship — not the classic "we chat for 48 hours and then you vanish like you were never real" situation 👻
Seriously, if you hate ghosting too, we’re already off to a good start.
My all-time favorite movie is Forrest Gump 🎬 (yes, I know - life is like a box of chocolates, and somehow I always pick the weird ones). I’m into all kinds of conversations: light, everyday stuff, random thoughts, and deep talks about life. One day it’s meaningful discussion, the next it’s "why did I walk into this room?" 🤔
I work remotely, which sounds great until you realize your main social interaction becomes notifications and silence. So here I am, looking for an actual human who finds time to reply and doesn’t treat conversations like a limited-time free trial.
I’m somewhere between introvert and extrovert. A bit careful with trust at first, but once it’s there, I’m consistent and genuinely invested.
I love animals 🐾 and I’m guilty of enjoying (and using) dad jokes. You’ve been warned 😄
Age doesn’t matter as long as you’re 18+. If you’re looking for a real, ongoing connection, enjoy a bit of irony, and can handle bad jokes delivered with confidence - feel free to message me.
