Flew on IndiGo 6E 6266 with a “loose engine part” - crew said normal, but what I saw wasn’t

On Dec 29, I was on IndiGo flight 6E 6266, window seat right above the engine. A few minutes after takeoff, I noticed a loose part near the engine wobbling mid‑air. I informed the airhostess, who passed it on to the captain. The reply? “It’s normal, nothing to worry.”

We flew 2 hours like that and landed in Ahmedabad at 13:20. The moment we stopped, ground staff rushed and surrounded the engine like it was a crime scene. I captured video + image of the situation.

Here’s the kicker: the same aircraft (VT‑IUP) took off again at 14:20 to Pune. One hour turnaround after flying with a visibly loose part.

Passengers aren’t test dummies. If this is “normal,” then IndiGo’s definition of safety is terrifying.
