Beginner struggling with Replit: Stick with it or try something else?

Hey everyone,

I’m a beginner working on a personal project using Replit, and I’m running into some challenges. I’ve seen people mention that the AI Agent can sometimes be unpredictable or even break things when trying to help.

I’m wondering whether it makes sense to:

1. Upgrade to Replit premium and push through everything there, or
2. Do most of my coding with another AI-assisted IDE like Gemini/Antigravity, then use Replit (or another service) just for hosting/deployment
3. Or take some other approach I might not know about

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s tried mixing tools like this as a beginner, what worked, what didn’t, and whether you’d stick with Replit or try something different?
