i7 7700K Overclocking Help

Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

I set it to 5Ghz in the BIOS following a yt video but the core speed never goes above 4400MHz under stress(Bannerlord 1000 army limit). Its supposed to go above multiplier x44 so not sure what I am doing wrong
