Cimarron National Grassland/Kansas

Has anyone hunted the Grassland? It's a huge, 107000 acre tract of former Dust Bowl farmland turned into grassland. Hunting is allowed there, and since I am a Kansas resident, public land is scarce. I am thinking of planning of a deer hunt there with quail on the side. If anyone has a clue or experience of that area, please let me know.
