Well service actually hitch lengths

Career Advice

Hey so I just got hired into a well servicing operation and I was at a local rig just starting out now I’m a relief worker, I was wondering though when I find my crew is the 21/3 hitch an actual 21 days straight or most of the time do you finish a job before that get some time off like a couple days then there’s another job, I know that some jobs take 21 days but I’m just wondering about actually amount time working and making money. Also bonus question are service rigs usually local enough where your home every night?
