Procrastination is sometimes a signal, not the enemy
For a long time, I thought procrastination was my biggest flaw. I blamed myself, pushed harder, applied pressure. It didn’t help.
Eventually, I noticed a pattern: I procrastinate not when I’m lazy, but when I’m overwhelmed or scared. When a task feels too big. When I don’t know where to start.
Procrastination turned out to be a signal: “You’re overloaded” or “You need clarity.” When I started breaking tasks into smaller steps, it became less powerful.
I didn’t stop procrastinating completely. But I stopped hating myself for it. And that alone changed a lot.
