What did i miss out on ?

So apparently the English Translation of Eiji Yoshiwakas Musashi is abridged, but the portugués and some other languages are full length.

I finished musashi this summer after many months of slow reading to enjoy rather than rush thru it.

Now im rereading my favorite parts. But now it feels like im not even getting the full story since im reading the abridged version.

A quick search online told me the full version had more minor encounters and side missions musashi had. Even if its minor or i still wish i read these.

Should i learn portugués?
