Is it normal for parent to return all childhood photos?

Bit of background, my parents seperated when I was 13, I lived full time with my mom but texted dad every day for the next 12 years and would visit, my photos were scattered around various walls and desks in the house. Dad got remarried a couple years ago and I spend my first christmas with them.

Their new house is FILLED with pictures of his new wife. Glamour shots of just her, him and her together, just her and her two daughters, her grandkid, all over the house. There isnt a single visible picture of me in that house. When I got ready to leave the house my dad hands me a big box of all my childhood photos, both framed and regular.

I cant tell if its normal for parents to give their kids childhood photos back or not.I cant tell if im being dramatic cause of my specific situation and really its just normal to get photos back.
