Trying to get a loan

I'm not sure if this is the right sub, but hopefully I can get some advice. I'll be going active duty enlisted in February. I'm trying to get a loan for $3,000 to cover move in expenses as well as the anticipated gap in my pay. Where I'm staying at the moment won't be able to work for my wife while I'm gone. We've found a place but don't have enough to actually be able to move and if we somehow come up with the money, there won't be enough to cover everything until I start getting paid approximately March 1st or 15th. I'm looking for a loan to cover all of this and use the SCRA to lower the interest rate and pay it all off around June. I tried to get one through my bank, but I wasn't approved due to having high utilization on my credit cards, which has lowered my score. My wife also doesn't have good credit so it'll be a no go for her as well. I'm considering getting one of those predatory and using the SCRA to lower the interest and pay it off, but I'm sure most of them have prepayment penalties that I won't be able to get out of and I'd like to avoid that if possible. The situation should be much better after joining. I've worked out a good budget and should have everything figured out and paid down around August. If anyone knows of anything I could do or just any general advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.
