Daily Artist Spotlight #293 (10/18): Ace Aura
Who let this dude cook with crystals.
Who is he?
Name: Eric Joshua Seall
The sound of Ace Aura is unmistakable: marimbas, trance-inspired synths and heaps of colorful dubstep basses. The Dallas-born Eric Seall spent the better part of a decade crafting and helping popularize what would come to be known as “future riddim.” While many in his field make music that is equal parts heavy and melodic, those elements are one and the same for Ace Aura; his basses have chords running through their very fibers.
Ace Aura debuted at the beginning of 2021 with TYNAN. In that same year he also collabed with Crankdat and have a solo release. 2022 has him returning to the label in February and a remix of one of ARMNHMR tunes. In 2023 he had few more single with collabs from Deadcrow, Pixel Terror, and NAZAAR. 2024 he dropped his 1st EP called Eternal.

Arcadia was made before the Pixel Terror split since it was teased in their Sleepless set.
The cover art for the Eternal EP was made by nuphory
Me personally.....Ace Aura definitely has some sort of just throne sitting around his house cause I'm suprised stuff like his can even be made. 2021 being my fair introduction to him was legit the move site I went from Monstercat to Rushdown to Disciple. He cooks regardless on what label he's one. UMBRA in my opinion felt like one of his Breakthrough tracks (Up there with songs like Rise, Tongue Of Fire, any a few more). His style is so recognizable he's manage to create a whole new genre with future riddim. In terms of recent memories he's amongst the best we have around the EDM landscape. But what do yall think about Ace Aura?
