Recommendations for what to try next?

I’ve had the HARDEST time finding a trail shoe I love and am hoping for some recs to try next.

For road shoes so far I’ve liked the Vomero+, the Evo SL, and the Zoom Fly 6. I deal with neuropathy in my feet and am finding I gravitate towards what I believe are cushioned but also responsive shoes? I’m a newer runner so I’m still figuring some of this out. But for example, I really like my NB 1080’s for walking but they feel “too” cushioned for running, like I sink in too much. I like a “bouncy” shoe for running.

I’ve tried out or tried on the Pegasus Trail, the newest Speedgoat, the Hierro I think v9?, the Terrex Agravic 3, the Zegama, and the LS Prodigio Pro. Maybe a couple others that I’m not remembering. The LS PP has been the closest to what I’m looking for in terms of feel but causes some tendon pain on the outside and inside up my calves that no other shoe has, on the exact same routes I always do.

I live in an area where I’m super limited in availability and mostly have to order to try stuff on which is frustrating. Some I’m considering are the MTC H1, the Salomon Aero Glide 3, or maybe the Ultra Glide 4 that’s coming out this week, but I definitely liked the deeper lug size of the LS PP…I get in quite a bit of elevation on dirt single tracks and man those lugs feel great!

Would love to know if anyone has any recommendations that maybe I’m overlooking? If you’ve gotten this far, thanks for reading!
